VOCALISE SUBSCRIPTION TERMS & CONDITIONS

License and Use

This purchase constitutes our granting to you of a non-exclusive, non-sublicensable, non-transferable access to the Vocalises Library, for the purpose of your own personal use and reference. You shall not copy, re-sell, share or otherwise distribute any of our products to any third party. 

Right to Modify

We reserve the right to modify, alter or add any content to the library periodically. 

Intellectual Property

This product and all intellectual property and copyright contained therein, are and shall at all times remain our sole and exclusive property. 

Refunds 

Unfortunately, we cannot offer refunds once a payment has been processed.

Cancellation

Payments recur monthly until canceled. You may stop your subscription anytime by logging in and canceling your plan.

WORKSHOP TERMS & CONDITIONS

CANCELLATION

IVS has a strict 48-hour cancellation policy for workshops. If you do cancel outside of the 48 hours, you will be refunded the full amount minus a processing fee of 3%. 

Within the 48 window, Innovative Voice Studio cannot offer refunds or credit for any future workshop. We thank you for your understanding.

Regarding tardiness -- if you are running late, no problem! Just pop into the Zoom room whenever you can -- and you’ll be let in ASAP.


RECORDINGS

All sessions will be recorded for playback in the event that you cannot attend live. Recordings will be sent to you after the workshop takes place.

Recordings in which your name and/or face may appear may also be used by IVS on our website and/or media platforms.


ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS OF AGREEMENT 

The artist has read and fully agrees to the terms of this agreement and enters into the terms of the agreement freely and voluntarily. 

By submitting payment, the artist accepts the terms of this agreement and considers the agreement fully effective.

VoiceLab Terms & Conditions

This agreement is between Innovative Voice Studio, hereinafter referred to as the “studio” and the artist. 

TERM OF PROGRAM 

The length of the program, sometimes referred to hereafter as “The VoiceLab”, is a 13 week program beginning on Tuesday September 23rd, 2025 and ending on December 16th, 2025. 

PAYMENT OF PROGRAM FEES

The artist will pay a one time $100 deposit followed by $59 weekly payments, every Tuesday for 13 weeks. Recurring monthly payments will be made once the artist pays the $100 deposit. 

Should the artist be a returning TVL participant, a member of the Voice Gym, or a recipient of an Artist Expansion Fund scholarship, weekly payment rates will be adjusted accordingly.

INITIAL RIGHT OF RECISSION 

Artists have 5 days after their order is placed to cancel their enrollment in The VoiceLab. If the artist chooses to cancel their enrollment within five days of the program start, full deposit will be refunded, less processing fees, and no automatic payments will be made thereafter.  

Written intent to cancel can be made to the studio at maggie@innovativevoicestudio.com.

DECLINED CREDIT CARD FEES 

Declined credit cards will result in a $25 fee. Artists whose credit cards are not current will not be allowed to participate in classes or allowed to schedule private sessions until updating their information. 

The artist agrees to update the studio of changes in credit card information at a minimum of 5 days before the next billing cycle. All changes can be made by emailing maggie@innovativevoicestudio.com

Voice Gym Terms & Conditions

VOICE GYM ARTIST AGREEMENT 

with Innovative Voice Studio

This agreement is between Innovative Voice Studio, hereinafter referred to as the “studio” and the artist. 

TERM OF PROGRAM 

The length of the program, sometimes referred to hereafter as “Voice Gym”, is a minimum of two (2) months. At the end of the two month period, the artist will continue to be enrolled in the program unless notice is given in writing to hello@innovativevoicestudio.com

After two months, should the artist wish to pause their membership for any length of time, please email hello@innovativevoicestudio.com with a requested re-start date, and we will pause your membership until then.

PAYMENT OF PROGRAM FEES

The artist will pay on a monthly basis depending on the session type they elect according to the chart below:

Payment Summary for Voice Gym Program:

1 Monthly 45 min session: $110

1 Monthly 60 min session: $135

2. Voice Gym Plus

2 Monthly 45 min session: $210

2 Monthly 60 min session: $260

Included in these fees:

1 Material Review (pick one below each month to occur outside of your lesson time):

  • Self tape feedback 

  • Practice video feedback (via Marco Polo)

  • Audition materials review (resume, website, AA profile, agent RO, etc)

  • Audition book rep list

  • New song suggestions in your requested genre/style

Member Dashboard with access to Vocalises Library, IVS Member Guides, Priority booking access through our Online Booking Calendars, Discounted rates on additional a la carte lessons

Recurring monthly payments will be made once the artist chooses their session type upon registration. Note that the artist may not decrease their lesson length until after a minimum of two months have elapsed. An artist may increase their lesson length at any time. If after two months the artist decides to have shorter or longer lessons, written notification must be given to maggie@innovativevoicestudio.com

By joining the program, the artist authorizes the studio to run automatic monthly payments on their card beginning with first payment at registration. 

The studio has the right to modify the costs of the program, but only after two months. The artist will be given advance written notification if the rates are modified. 


When booking a lesson, the artist should use their individual generated code on our online calendar. Codes cannot be applied after a lesson has occurred. Any additional lessons outside of the program can be paid for via credit card.

PRIVATE SESSIONS POLICY

Each artist enrolled in Voice Gym Regular receives a guaranteed 1 private voice session per subscription month with Tim or Jenna (and booking additional sessions beyond the 1 is encouraged). 

Each artist enrolled in Voice Gym Plus receives a guaranteed 2 private voice sessions per subscription month with Tim or Jenna.

Note that the first day of the subscription month begins when initial payment is made. For example, if the first payment is made on September 3rd, the subscription month runs from 9/3/2024 to 10/2/2024. We do not run on calendar months. 

All lessons must be booked prior to the end of the artist’s billing cycle. The lesson does not need to occur before the billing date, but it does need to be booked. 

Additional sessions beyond what is included per month are encouraged and can be scheduled on the online calendar a la carte at the same rate. 

The artist is responsible for scheduling the sessions before the end of the subscription month, or they will be lost. So, if your cycle begins on 9/15, your credit will be available until the end of the day on 10/14 to use the session before your next billing cycle begins on 10/15. There are no roll-overs. 


Each artist may elect to switch back and forth between coaches. The artist agrees that in the case of a coach being unavailable, the artist may not have the choice of a particular coach. 

If a lesson is cancelled by the artist, money will be refunded less a 3% processing fee. If possible, we recommend rescheduling lessons rather than cancelling.


OUT OF TOWN BOOKINGS 

The studio recognizes that the artist may book contracts that will take them away from the city. Hooray, this is amazing news! The studio coaches will give full support wherever the artist is. In the case of an artist not being physically present, private sessions will take place over ZOOM. 


After two months, should an artist wish to pause their membership for any length of time, please email hello@innovativevoicestudio.com with a requested re-start date, and we will pause your membership until then.


CANCELLATION OF ENROLLMENT BY ARTISTS

Other than the first five days right of rescission, the artist only has a right to cancel their enrollment after the completion of the first two months, where all first fees are non-refundable. 

The studio reserves the right to cancel an artist’s membership at their discretion, where future auto payments will be cancelled, but no refunds for past sessions will be made.

Please email maggie@innovativevoicestudio.com to change/cancel at least 10 days prior to your next billing cycle.

BADassery Spring 2025 Terms & Conditions

ARTIST AGREEMENT  

This agreement is between Innovative Voice Studio, hereinafter referred to as the “studio” and the “artist”. 

TERM OF PROGRAM 

The Spring 2025 BADassery runs from Jan 27th, 2025 to Sunday, May 4th 2025, for a total of 14 weeks. 

PAYMENT OF PROGRAM FEES

The artist will pay on a weekly basis. Weekly payments will be made on a recurring basis with automatic payments made per the chart below.

 
 
 

By joining the program, the artist authorizes the studio to run automatic payments on their card according to the payment chart above. 


Membership Payment Summary For BADassery

Deposits: A one-time, non-refundable $200 deposit due upon registration, which confirms the artist's place in the program and allows them to book their Power Strategy Session.


BADASS Regular Program 

WEEKLY: 14 payments of $99 

The studio shall not modify the costs of the program once this agreement has been made effective. 


RIGHTS OF RECISSION 

Artists have until Friday, Jan 31st, 2025 to cancel their enrollment in the BADassery. If the artist chooses to cancel their enrollment within five days of the program start, automatic payments will be canceled after the first week. The deposit will not be refunded. Written intent to cancel can be made to the studio at hello@innovativevoicestudio.com

POWER STRATEGY SESSIONS 

These sessions are between the artist and both coaches (Jenna and Tim) during the program. These sessions can be held in person at Opera America, or on Zoom. You will receive a booking link shortly after registration. 


PRIVATE SESSIONS POLICY

Private sessions begin any time after the PSS has occurred (second week).

Private sessions take place remotely over ZOOM or IN-PERSON in NYC or LA.


We recommend that the artist spaces out their lessons to occur once every 3 weeks or so; however, the artist is free to book their 4 private sessions whenever it works for their schedule.


BADassery Members receive 4 total private sessions. This total lesson count does not include Power Strategy Session(s).

BADassery lesson length is 45 mins.


Upon registration, each artist will receive a “certificate code” which will be applied to all sessions when they are scheduled on our online calendar. Codes cannot be applied after a session has passed. Codes are only used for private 1:1 sessions and will not be used for Power Strategy Sessions, Masterclasses, rehearsals, or other events. Any additional lessons during the program are welcome and can be paid for via credit card. 


Artists should not schedule more than one session in a one week period.

The studio encourages artists to alternate their sessions between Tim and Jenna.

ARTIST ABSENCES

The studio recognizes that the artists maintain busy schedules and may not be able to attend every single BADassery event over the course of the semester. 

Where the artist is unable to attend an event, the studio will not be able to offer make-up classes including but not limited to webinars, Masterclasses, team trainings, or cabarets. We will record and distribute all webinars, team trainings and Masterclasses, in the event the artist is unable to attend an event live. 


CANCELLATION OF ENROLLMENT BY THE ARTIST

Other than the first five days right of recission, the artist may not cancel their enrollment in the program and all semester fees are non-refundable. 

The studio reserves the right to cancel an artist’s membership (without penalty on the artist’s behalf) at their discretion.

IVS On Demand and Other Video and Downloadable Content Terms & Conditions

1.0 Introduction

These terms and conditions set out the terms and conditions between you, the customer, and Innovative Voice Studio (“us”, “we”), governing the use of our website and our downloadable digital recordings, including the content therein (the “products”). Your use of our website, and purchase, download and use of our products, constitutes your full acceptance of these terms and conditions. If you do not agree with these terms and conditions, you should not use our website or purchase, download or use any of our products.

2.0 License and Use

Your purchase of one of our products constitutes our granting to you of a non-exclusive, non-sublicensable, non-transferable license to download and access that product for the purpose of your own personal use and reference, and print or convert the product to an image or vector format for your own storage, retention and reference (the “purpose”). You agree that under no circumstances shall you use, or permit to be used, any product other than for the aforesaid purpose. For the avoidance of doubt, you shall not copy, re-sell, sublicense, rent out, share or otherwise distribute any of our products, whether modified or not, to any third party. You agree not to use any of our products in a way which might be detrimental to us or damage our reputation.

3.0 Intellectual Property

The products, whether modified or not, and all intellectual property and copyright contained therein, are and shall at all times remain our sole and exclusive property. You agree that under no circumstances, whether the product has been modified or not, shall you have or attempt to claim ownership of any intellectual property rights or copyright in the product.

 

4.0 Refunds and Chargebacks

Once a product has been purchased by you, no right of cancellation or refund exists under the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000 due to the electronic nature of our products. Any refunds shall be at our sole and absolute discretion. You agree that under no circumstances whatsoever shall you initiate any chargebacks via your payment provider. You agree that any payments made by you for any of our products are final and may not be charged back. We reserve the right to alter any of our prices from time to time.

5.0 Warranties and Liability

We make every effort to ensure that our products are accurate, authoritative and fit for the use of our customers. However, we take no responsibility whatsoever for the suitability of the product, and we provide no warranties as to the function or use of the product, whether express, implied or statutory, including without limitation any warranties of merchantability or fitness for particular purpose. You agree to indemnify us against all liabilities, claims, demands, expenses, actions, costs, damages, or loss arising out of your breach of these terms and conditions. Furthermore, we shall not be liable to you or any party for consequential, indirect, special or exemplary damages including but not limited to damages for loss of profits, business or anticipated benefits whether arising under tort, contract, negligence or otherwise whether or not foreseen, reasonably foreseeable or advised of the possibility of such damages.
